On January 28, the girls experienced their first snow.
We didn't get much at our house, but the school district called a snow day (our district includes eastern country areas that get much more snow than we get).

Later in the day we went to visit friends who picked up their daughter the same time we got our girls. When we arrived at their house, their neighbor was heading out to feed her horses, so Esther Islande, Zoë Katiana and I joined Sherri and her kids (Charis was asleep and Mark stayed at the house with Mike).

After dinner, we enjoyed a fun dessert of fondue, also known as "donfue," right Sherri? :)

Esther Islande LOVES animals. She has no fear of them either. She even donned the gloves and pulled out one of our friends' sugar gliders (the friendly one).
The kids all ran around, played games, giggled and shrieked. Thanks, guys, for a fantastic evening! We're so blessed this journey has brought us together!
