Charis' Pixie Party

We had Charis' birthday party today, family BBQ, with about 24 people. The weather was nice.

The Tinker Bell cake. A ball-shaped cake and a two-layer 10" round, lemon cake, covered with fondant.

Charis dressed as Tinker Bell with her new wings.

I love this shot.

The pinata that Auntie Kim and Grandma Carol made.

Charis taking her turn at the pinata. We went through three rounds with the kids hitting it three times each round (twice with blindfold, once without). We let my friend's 12-year-old son beat it to death. And, since the tarps were under the pinata to catch the flying candy, the candy flew everywhere other than the tarps!

Charis and her cake.
